Push for Discipleship and Evangelism

We began out push for discipleship starting in September.  We hope to work our church up to 100 disciples (not just church attenders) and we are focusing everything we have on achieving this first goal that God has placed on us.

We began by meeting with every church member and encouraging them to meet with someone on a regular basis to study, pray, and grow together.  Then we began a visiting campaign and we have gone out into the streets to meet our neighbors, pray for them, and if they are interested in more we present the simple gospel to them.

Our first week we had four visitors and two decisions.  We know that these numbers might be small for some, but they mean growth and the beginning of a movement!

One of the better teams we have had in years!  Thank you CCV for your hard work, great attitudes, and humility in serving as needed.  Great friendships were made, lives were touched, hearts were moved, and most importantly, God was glorified!
